Reporting an Incident
The Office of International Safety and Security is the best point of contact to activate university support in an emergency when traveling abroad. OISS should be informed of emergencies as soon as possible to provide guidance, coordinate campus support, and inform relevant stakeholders.
The first priority of a program leader or traveler is immediate care for injured or threatened travelers. When safe to do so, leaders or travelers should contact the Director for International Safety & Security directly: +1 202.596.0759 or through the Georgetown University Police Department: +1 202.687.4343.
For routine situations, email or submission of the Incident Reporting Form is the preferred means of contact. Click on the link below to Report an Incident.
